I'm obsessive. Sometimes it manifests in annoying ways, like reading 800 reviews for a coffee grinder before pulling the trigger (I highly recommend the Baratza Encore Series). Fortunately, I'm also able to channel my obsessiveness into writing. Am I the best writer on the planet? Probably. But that's because I empathize with my audience, iterate, and work hard.
